BECOMING A SOJOURNER
To Become A Sojourner, One Must:
- Be a member in good standing of a congregation of the church of Christ.
- Complete the application process. If it is for a husband and wife, both must complete the application. Applications are available online or through the Sojourner office.
- Own an RV and be available to participate in at least one sojourn per year.
- Be able to provide for their own expenses associated with sojourning.
Once an application is received, it is reviewed by the Sojourner Co-Directors. The time involved in approval depends on how quickly references are received and the time to follow-up with any questions.
Once an application is approved, the person will receive notification, usually a phone call, letting them know of approval. Also, the individual(s) will receive a welcome package that includes information to get them started with Sojourning.
